Guitar Trojy The Guitar Trojy (Trow-gee) is a fixture designed to hold your guitar securely & safely while you work on it.  The jaws are adjustable with the maple/walnut handle, & capable of holding everything from a thin line guitar to an acoustic bass guitar.  Trojy's are useful for guitar construction, finishing, as well as repair.  Cutting dovetails, scraping binding, sanding sides, & French polishing are just some of the jobs made easier with the use of the Trojy.  The body (3' tall) is constructed of laminated Fir veneer, and the jaws are lined with a protective foam.  Our Trojy is based on generations of guitar holders.  The original Trojy was conceived of, built, & named by Jean Larrivee in the 70's.  It was then redesigned and built by Sergei de Jonge (former apprentice of Jean Larrivee).  The Trojy we offer is an example of the best qualities of both of these designs.
